ITSM is the professional discipline focused on standardizing the IT capabilities that can deliver the greatest value to the business.  Good management is everyone's business!

1)  ITIL
The IT Information Library (ITIL) is the most widely adopted comprehensive framework for ITSM. This site is managed by the OGC in conjunction with their publishing and accreditation partners.
2)  ITSM Portal
An independent portal for the global ITSM community, enabling interested practitioners to create user groups to voice common concerns and news.
3)  Microsoft MOF
Microsoft's formalized blueprint for best practices covering the complete IT lifecycle. Also presented by Microsoft as a "solution accelerator", MOF provides a more prescriptive slant than other frameworks such as ITIL.
4)  COBIT
Control Objectives for Information and
related Technology (COBIT) provides businesses with direct assessments of how well IT is governed and is aligned with the business needs with an emphasis on technology lifecycles.
5)  Best Management Practice Knowledge Centre
A central clearing house organized by the UK's Office of Government Commerce (OGC), the original source of ITIL, combining in one site the best practices of ITSM, Project Management and Risk Management.
6)  Tudor's ITSM Process Assessment
This is a relatively new entry in the evolving universe of ITIL v3 "complementary guidance"--i.e., service management practices contributed by ITSM experts and not articulated in the ITIL v3 Core.
